Voting and debate participation is now measured only against the business that took place while an MP was actually serving, so members who arrived or left mid-parliament are judged on the same basis as everyone else.

Long-serving MPs were being measured against votes held before the 2024 election, making their attendance look worse than it was. Everyone is now compared over the current parliament only.

Members who have left the Commons are now marked as former MPs, and their rankings are frozen at the point they left rather than drifting afterwards.
